Cell Generation provides high-quality human neutrophils for immunology, inflammation, and innate-immunity research. Neutrophils are the body’s first responders, making them essential for studying infection, inflammation, and drug responses. Unlike most neutrophil products, our cryopreserved neutrophils maintain exceptionally high viability and functionality. They perform reliably not only immediately after thawing but also following centrifugation, enabling use in demanding assays such as phagocytosis, oxidative burst, NET formation, and co-culture systems. Samples are highly pure and suitable for diverse research applications.

Our neutrophils are produced using a proprietary isolation and cryopreservation process developed at Cell Generation to overcome the well-known challenges of freezing granulocytes. This optimized workflow preserves membrane integrity, prevents activation, and protects functional pathways, resulting in exceptionally high post-thaw viability. Unlike standard neutrophil preparations, our cells also remain stable and fully functional after centrifugation, making them uniquely reliable for demanding assays and workflows that require both resilience and consistent performance.

Every neutrophil lot undergoes rigorous quality control to ensure reliability and consistency. We perform viability, purity, sterility, mycoplasma, and cell-count validation under GMP-aligned procedures. Functional integrity is assessed using neutrophil-specific performance indicators, ensuring the cells remain responsive and assay-ready. Each shipment includes a detailed Certificate of Analysis (CoA) with full QC metrics, giving researchers the confidence needed for high-impact experimental work.

Neutrophils are among the most fragile immune cells, traditionally difficult to freeze without compromising function. At Cell Generation, we use a proprietary cryopreservation workflow designed specifically for granulocytes. This method stabilizes cellular structures, prevents premature activation, and maintains metabolic and functional pathways. The result is exceptional post-thaw viability and performance, with the added advantage of maintaining function even after centrifugation, making our neutrophils uniquely robust.

Our neutrophils are isolated either from fresh whole blood or from granulocyte apheresis collections, depending on project needs. Each method is optimized to maximize yield while preserving cellular integrity. Whole-blood isolation provides rapid access to fresh innate immune cells, while granulocyte apheresis allows for high-volume collections with consistent purity. In both cases, cells are processed immediately under controlled conditions to maintain viability and reduce activation.

Cell Generation neutrophils are suitable for a wide range of applications, including phagocytosis assays, oxidative burst analysis, NET formation studies, migration and chemotaxis assays, drug screening, inflammation and infection models, and co-culture systems with other immune cells. Their exceptional resilience post-thaw and post-centrifugation enables use in workflows that traditionally require fresh samples, offering flexibility and reliability for researchers across immunology, oncology, and translational biology.

We offer full flexibility in donor selection to support precise research needs. Clients may request specific donor demographics such as age, sex, ethnicity, or BMI, along with health history or disease-state donors when required. HLA-typed donors can be arranged for specialized assays or matched studies. Custom vial counts, yields, and collection schedules are available to ensure consistency across experiments and long-term projects.

Working with Cell Generation means partnering with a team deeply committed to scientific reliability and customer success. We provide fast global shipping, responsive support, and tailored solutions for complex projects. Our documentation, QC standards, and transparent workflows ensure every sample arrives ready for use. Whether for early discovery or advanced development, we deliver high-quality human cells with the consistency and professionalism researchers depend on.
