Human Plasma

Cell Generation provides both fresh and frozen human plasma. Our plasma products are derived from peripheral blood samples through centrifugation. The plasma is a significant source of biomarkers and can serve as an effective tool for diagnostic testing. Plasma contains hormones, electrolytes, glucose, antibodies, antigens, nutrients, clotting factors, and other components. Typical research areas regarding plasma focus on the coagulation factors, fibrinolytic proteins, immunoglobulins, and albumin suspended therein. All of our plasma is sourced from International Review Board (IRB) consented donors and centrifuged from peripheral blood.

Cell Generation relies on an extensive, ethnically diverse network of healthy donors for our human Plasma. These donors are thoroughly screened to ensure they are not positive for a comprehensive suite of infectious diseases and determine eligibility by a medical doctor. All donors are IRB-approved consented donors. For each plasma separation a detailed Certificate of Analysis (COA) is supplied to bring the most comprehensive data set for any research

Our team takes every precaution to ensure that our customers receive a high-quality Plasma sampe in every order. All processes, from donor screening to freezing, follow current Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines in order to ensure donor safety, and product high standard reproducibility. All lots undergo routine sampling and testing to guarantee our stringent quality standards are met. These samples undergo a full suite of testing for infectious diseases, fungi, mycoplasma, and more. Additional methods for determining cell count to ensure accuracy are used. A Certificate of Analysis (CoA) accompanies every shipment, showing the results of our extensive quality testing

Cell Generation plasma is sourced from peripheral blood and separated through apheresis. A high centrifugation packing factor ensures clean plasma free of platelets. Before collection, the IRB-consented donor undergoes a set of infectious disease tests to ensure the health of the resulting samples. Plasma is then separated from the peripheral blood through centrifugation. This process produces a high purity plasma sample. Quality control protocols are followed during every step of the procedure, ensuring sterile conditions and the highest quality plasma samples.
